Yes this program is a more secure way to activate the transfer stracture.

But normally you don't need of that, if the transport request is correct and contain all necessary objects and you have replicate the datasource before of import.

you will get same error even when loading a flat file if file is kept opened at the time scheduling...and if you have any customer exits and exit screen is in change mode.

What error did you get when loading the data?

Hi Saritha,

You need to replicate datasources if they have been changed in the source system, and after this the transfer rules need to be reactivated. You can replicate all the datasources if required by right clicking the topmost node of the application component hierarchy. And as you mention, you can activate the transfer rules using the SE38 program.

Hope this helps...

Hi,

rs_transtru_activate_all is for activating transfer rules.

To replicate dataSources,RSA1>Source Systems>Select your Source System-->reght click and choose 'replicate data sources'.

After Replicating datasources, you can activate all or only inactive transfer structures by using RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL in SE38.

regards
