Differences between DB Statistics and BW Statistics

Hi,

I have a doubt what is the exact difference of BW Statistics and DB Stattistics and where exactly these are useful.

Please clear my doubt.

    Hi Venkat,

    DB statistics are used by the optimizer for retrieving data on database level.

    BW statistics are about the usage of different objects (queries, InfoCubes, ...) in your system
