workflow

Does anyone know the detail steps that are needed to be followed in order to send an email from workflow to an external email address (non sap) when changing address...very urgent.

    Hi venu

    It will be a bit time taking to learn workflows.

    To insert a step in an existing Workflow u Need to analyse the existing one and decide where to include steps.Once U get the place to insert step U can click right click and choose MAIl Step from the list to insert.

    Do remmember Never experiment with Std Workflows.

    U need to copy the Std workflows and tasks and do experiments.

    If U want documents on workflow let me know I'll send U across the same..

    hi venu,

    Copy the standard workflow template using the transaction : pftc_cop and insert a mail from tab "steps can be inserted".In the mail task,Under the mail tab, set the recipient type : email address.this should work for external email ids as well.
