Problems with defining own geojson files

Hi community,

im facing problems on building up a geomap within Design Studio 1.6 SP3 in combination with own geojson files.

Step 1: I made my own polygon on geojson.io (simple one to verify functionality).

Step 2. i set the according SAP Key within the file:

{
"type": "FeatureCollection",
"features": [
{
"type": "Feature",
"properties": {
"SAP KEY": "New York"
},
"geometry": {
"type": "Polygon",
"coordinates": [
[
[
47.63671875,
63.704722429433225
],
[
...

Step 3: i imported the geojson file to Design Studio

Step 4: on execution i see the opposite of what i expected :) the exclude polygon is coloured within Design Studio. What i read before is the blog of Dirk Mayrock which describes the "clockwise" and "counterclockwise" definition of an polygon. But in my case it is the same wrong behaviour in both cases

Any idea what i made wrong?

    Hi Sebastian.

    I'm running in exactly the same issue (after reading the counterclockwise tip... nothing changed), have you solved the problem?

    Thanks!

    Hi Sebastian,

    Either geojson.io has some problems or SAP changed something in the map component I think. No matter how you draw your map, you get this problem. We had the same issue a while ago and found this site. Generate your json file here and import it to DS and it should work. (Don't forget to draw your shape clockwise)
