hi,

i designed label layout with bartender. here i got some doubt.

its regarding declaring variable fields in bartender layout.

how to define varibale fields inlayout. please any one explain me. how to deal with it.

Hi srini ,,

i know this using BAR-ONE ..

okay in BAR-TENDER

1.

open the layout ...click on text from the menu items ...

with icon 'T',

2.a sample text is spotted on the layout..

3.now in the layout right click on the layout it gives options of properties ..

4. select this.

5. this will lead u to one more screen ,, like modify selected text object ..

in this goto --data source screen

in the source data ,

this will give a list ..in this choose database fields ..

now try using this ..

like &kna1-kunnr&

etc
