I have question regarding maintaining safety stock.
Can I maintain value for safety stock for FG as floating point value e.g. 1.5, 2.5 or 0.5?
Thank you very much.
Kindly regards
Thank you for your useful information. I have one more question. How's about in coverage profile. Can I config this field so that I can put it in decimal point e.g. to set coverage profile to 1.5 days to cover safety stock level.

You can maintain decimals for Safety stock, but if your base unit of measure is linear then this will not calculate the values correclty

The safety stock field in material master MARC-EISBE is of type Quant (13,3) so you should be able to use the decimals.
I am not sure what you are looking out for ....hope the above helps if not
