Hi All,

I am looking to use account transformation rules to perform a mapping of Account + FLOW combinations to be mapped to a specific destination account.

I then need to export my destination account data set into a flat file and upload it to a different system.

In my case I have approx 4000 lines of these account + flow combinations which I have mapped out in excel and looking to get them into the BPC rules.

I am unable to do a copy paste, wondering if there was an easier way to import this into BPC?

Thank you in advance.

What do you mean by rules in this case? If you need to do it once you can create a report in Excel and save results in csv...

Basically I need to build a mapping file to move data from a combination of Account + Flow from BPC consolidation model to a set of custom accounts that I have built in BPC. I will then export out data on these custom accounts from the Consolidation model to be imported into Cognos.

I have approximate 4000 such lines i.e. combination of Account + Flow members mapping to a custom account members that I have created.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Vadim.

If you need to do it more then once you can simply create properties in Account dimension and use script logic to copy data!

But you have to describe the mapping in more details:

Each source account is related to only one source flow and one destination account and flow?

Sorry, I should have made it clearer in my post.

It is not one to one, there are multiple account + multiple flow combinations going to multiple destination accounts. This will be a one time set up and might have few account + flow combinations added monthly but will be maintained manually.

thank you

Not clear!

Please provide detailed description with detailed samples of different cases!

How many combinations like:

Sac1 Sfl1 -> Dac1 Dfl1

Sac1 Sfl2 -> Dac2 Dfl2

Sac1 Sfl2 -> Dac3 Dfl3

...

Hi Vadim,

Please see a sample of the file.

So there can be new accounts that are created in ECC and these will be updated in this file i.e. account + cc combination going to a Cognos account.

Hope this help. Thanks & Regards,

In general 4000 account transformation rules will run endless to my mind. It's better to go to custom logic badi with ztable for mapping.
