NWDI in NW04s

Hi,

We have installed NW04s recently and would like to configure our NWDI.

However we are unable to create Software Component.

When we ran the template for NWDI,it went through successfully.

Do we need to do anything before creating SC that I may have missed?

Hi Siddarth,

I am using Administrator User.

And the error I got is

"Value not allowed by VALUEMAP for property SAP_SoftwareComponent.ProductionState: Started".Changing the state also didn help.

Is this a problem with NW04s SP4 as suggested by some posts?

Hi Suparna,

Have you created a custom product or are you trying to create a SC in an already existing product.

Hi Siddarth,

I was creating a new product.

As suggested by some other posts,i upgraded the system to SP8.Now I am able to create a component but I cant find the build time SCs for dependency.

When I run by template for DI Pst installation it gives me error during build time SCs/plugins imports.

Hi Suparna,

Which user are you using to log in to SLD.

If it is not Administrator then has this user been assigned proper authorizations.

What error messgae do you get when you try to create SC.
