Prirority of BW extraction Jobs

Hi,

The prirority of the BW Extraction Jobs in R/3 are going with Low

Prirority.Changing the Prirority is not available in InfoPackage & SPRO

Transaction.

Is it possible to change the Prirority of the Extraction Jobs?

If possible How?

Hi,

It is possible. In your source system, you can modify the function module JOB_OPEN, and specify for all 'BI_REQU*' jobs to be upgraded to class 'A' jobs.

Please note that this is a modification to standard function, hence you need to change/reinsert the changes after each support package or technical upgrades.

Hi,

I do not have the codes with me for the time being, but I can certainly try and get it for you. You're merely changing the code by inserting a few additional lines and it will not affect your other jobs.

I'll reply to you tomorrow and get the codes back to you. Otherwise, get your ABAP programmers to insert the code... they should know where to insert the additional lines.
