0Employee

Dear all,

I need to build a query on the employee details. This is very much available in 0Employee. Having said that, I want a build a report on 0employee. But is this possible in the first place? I believe that queries can be built only on Cubes and ODS.

Please comment.

Cheers,

Sam

Mark your IOBJ as a data target and it will be available for reporting .. otherwise create an infoset on the same and use it for reporting..

    • samuel,

you will find it in th IOBJ change mode - under BeX ( I am not sure if it is in the Business Explorer tab or the first one where you define the characteristic legth etc ) there will be a check box ( characteristic is a data provider with a text box beside it ) check that box and specify the infoarea where you want to see your IOBJ and it will become visible in the infosource area.
