Difference between dates

Hi experts,

I must calculate the difference between two dates that are separated in DATS and TIMS characteristics in my infocube. For instance, I have the Creation Date in two infoobjects, characteristic DATS and characteristic TIMS, and the Activation Date just like that. I want to calculate the difference between creation date and activation date (activation date - creation date) and present it in days, hours, minutes and seconds. How can I do it?

Thanks in advance.

    Thiago,

There's a function in the transfer/update rules: "Date Difference". You can use this to calculate at the time of upload.

    Hope it helps,

    Farhan

    Farhan,

    Thanks for your answer.

Actually I need to do this calculation in runtime, in the query. Do you know how could I do it?

If it's not possible, I could use your solution but I have to make sure that I can calculate using two infoobjects per date.

    Thanks one more time.
