cumulative and non cumulative key figures

hi,

when i create a key figure under info objec catalog i see the options of

cumulative kf and

non cumulative kf.

if i set it as cumulative and non cumulative

what will happen

how will the keyfigure function.

please help me with this.

The definition of KF cumulative or not is to make scenario (infocube) non-cumulative.

If the modeling of non-cumulatives with non-cumulative key figures is useful depends on your scenario. Normally it is useful to keep the history of the data, for example with warehouse stock (retail) or with the number of employees.

normally you have to define a cumulative kf,

pay attention to a non-cumulative normally is used for special scenario like inventory history.
