SSO Login from Portal-plugged Java Web applications

currently, we have some Java based Web applications within the SAP Portal 7 (just http-links to external resources => Tomcat).

We like to enable SSO (single sign-on) support, so that an authenticated Portal user (via Microsoft Active Directory) will have access to these Web applications.

How to do within Portal environment? Guideline?

Best Rgds.

    Hi Rainer,

You have two possibilities: Use the AppIntegrator to integrate your WebApp and use (a) User/Password mapping to map the credentials to your webAbb (if these are different from the portal credentials) or (b) use the SSO2-ticket to pass over to the WebApp and check it on the webApp side (if you have control over the webApps code).

    Hope it helps
