Any issues with 10g Upgrade on HP-UX 11.11

Has anyone 'actually' upgraded directly from 9.2.0.6 to 10.2.0.2 on HP-UX 11.11 with any issues.

When I do this upgrade, the runInstaller does not install any binaries? or ask ne to run .root.sh

We are doing this and did not experience any issues. We did this for SAP KW 6.0 to KW 7.0 (while upgrade) and also did for 46C.

Thanks,

Did you upgrade directly from Oracle 9.2.0.6 to 10.2.0.2 using the SAP patch set????

We found that the SAP 10.2.0.2 patch set did not work correctly when upgrading directly from 9.2.0.6.

But is did work corectly when upgrading from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.2.

Hi,

We are doing this kind of activity no issues so far.

If the source database runs Oracle 9.2.0.3, 9.2.0.2, or 9.2.0.1, you need to update the source database to patch set 9.2.0.4 or later. The DBUA checks for the source release of the Oracle 9.2 database. If the source database runs on a lower version than Oracle 9.2.0.4 you cannot proceed.

Thanks&Regards,
