RFC error

I'm trying to create a Adaptive RFC model in Web Dynpro and I receive the following RFC error:

org.eclipse.swt.SWTException: Failed to execute runnable (com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (104) RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: User BOBJ has no RFC authorization for function group SDIFRUNTIME .)

So far my basis person has not been able to fix this for me but it appears pretty obvious to me that I just need to have my ID added to the function group SDIFRUNTIME?

I don't know SAP at all but this seems to be the case. Is it more complicated than that?
