YTD calculations

Hi all:

I have a Key figure in BEx.

i want to calculate the totals for each month(say Jan, Feb Mar.... till dec for each fiscal year).

my problem is, for certain months the values for the key figure is zero.

i want to calculate the values till YTD.

eg: jan ending, janfeb ending, janfeb+march ending. for this, i need to divide the total values/ no of months. but as i said before for some key figures there are no values for certain months.

can anyone please tell me how to do this.

your help will be highly rewarded.

Thanks

kedar

There is a How-to paper "How to… Derive a Variable value from another variable" available on service.sap.com/bi -> Services & Implementation -> HOW TO... Guides -> Guide List SAP BW 2.x.

    It should help.
