Authorization Error in opening project workspace

Hi, I am opening CPM project workspace but I am getting error: You are not authorised to peorform this action. Following roles have already assigned to user id: SAP_SR_CPD_PFP_USER_1

Hi Gudrun,

Where I can look for the missing customizing? Because in this IMG activity "Set up User Interface Groups for Project Workspace" only says 0ALL ID but it is incomplete.

I looked at OSS notes without success

Solved!

When the business function for CPM is activated it completes the missing cuztomizing.

Hi Rami and all others that might cross that error in future too:

This is due to missing customizing for the workspace.

I had the same error, resulting from not imported or deleted standard customizing settings. Only after applying all default settings from the performance assistance in spro (help text in all spro TC / topics) for commercial projects / master data / Masterproject and expecially "Set up User Interface Groups for Project Workspace" it worked.

The error occurs in method /CPD/CL_PWS_WS_WSPACE_MPAPPCCCP / IF_FPM_OVP_CONF_EXIT~OVERRIDE_EVENT_OVP. That nice piece of programming issues an authorization error instead of an hint to "missing customizing".
