Friends
Currently we are doing prototype for our client.
we are doing few devlopment in a dummry BW server as of now and we have to import them onto client server by the end of next month.
we have developed ODS / CUBES and all other stuff required.
Can we import them as it is .
How we can do that.what is the process

Hi Sundaresan,
As Ram already explained, use the transport connection to generate your XML files. Via RSA1 - Transport connection -XML - Export - Infoproviders by infoareas, select your cube. First put the grouping on "In dataflow before", drag and drop your object into the right hand screen and press the export button.
I would suggest to keep the number of objects per file as small as possible to avoid errors, e.g. 1 cube per file.
Try one complete scenario first, before engaging into more collections.
Good luck!!
Please assign points for helpfull answers.

Olav
Hi:
You have to transport them if those two systems are linked in STMS (ask Basis if in doubt).
Second option is that BASIS can transport Released requests at database level, but it is little more complicated bacuse your collction has to be excellent without transpor terrors in this case.
I never tried the XML for lots of objects like ODS, CUBE, I-Objects etc, may take time but it may work too.

Hi:
THe tools required are in the Transport Connection Tab.
XML
Export.
Here, just like transports, select the Grouping.
And Collect the Objects.
Its mostly self-explanatory.
Try a sample if you like.
Also, I recommend you to open another post with title like "XML Export/Import".
I am sure some people have done this in a large scale and the title will help them identify.
