Hi:

If you want to test more, do this:

Load only PSA first. This time will give you extraction/network resources time.

Then, laod data from PSA to Data Target. THis will give you remaining laod time.

If the first one is slow, its your Network Connection/Resources (not much u can do, ask BASIS to talk to network resources.

If the second one is slow without transformation, do some work on ODS (BEX off, uniqur records, etc) CUBE (re-align dimensions).

45 minutes may be a good time for a million records.

Hi Tina,

really it's to much depending on the hardware of source, of BW, on the dimension of the records, of the package, of the database of the source,......

I'm only able to present my example:

from Oracle (source) to BW (DB Oracle) for 200.000 records, the elapsed was 4 minutes (without activation of ODS not avaiable to the reporting).

Regards,

it depends on many factors. The extraction shoudn't take long time. You should add time for transformation, activate ODS, if corresponds, can take some time too etc.

In normal conditions from 30 minutes to one hour.

Try a little load in order estimate how long it will can take
