User exits....

Hi,

I am working on User-exits related to insurance module of SAP. I am aware of how to go and modify code in function module exit os SAP. But this time I am seeinmg something new.

Now when I go to SMOD and select one of the user exit -> Click on components, then I see a name of program and Code under <b>Function Codes area</b>.

If I double click on it , it takes me to Interface objects which has Staus, Menu bars, Menu List, Function key settings, Function list and title in a hierarachy format which I can expand further. This is something different from regular function module exits.

What is this ? What kind of modifications can be done using this ?
