Can not reach installshield wizard during installation

Hi,

I've gone through the index.htm guide, and its prerequisites. After I execute the setup.exe, I get a pop-up indicating that the VM is initializing and installshield is starting.

Alas, as soon as the progress bar reaches the end, the install wizard is not opening and the windows explorer temp folder, from which I've executes the setup.exe, is refreshed.

I've already tried this installation on threee different machines, but the result is the same

What am I doing wrong?

Best Regards,

Ran

    Hello Ran,

Where have you taken the Installation archive from?

Have you downloaded it from SDN?

    Greetings,

    Bobby

try executing the following from a console

    setup -is:javaconsole

This will start the setup in a console and you will be able to see any output, hopefully you will see some exceptions which you could forward.

      Hi All,

Together with Micheal Beutelspacher the problem was found. My XP OS was set on my default local: Hebrew, which caused the install shield to crash. A Workaround was to change the default language to english and restart the installation.

      Thanks Michael for your help.

      Regards,

      Ran
