I m kinda new to BW, I have created an info area with infocube that has sales data in BW system and was trying to create a query using that info cube. But for some reason I dont see that info area in BEx analyzer, do I have to configure some thing for it to show up in BEx Analyzer or is it related to authorization. I would really appreciate if anyone of you could help me out.
initially when you go into Bex analyzer, on the right top hand side u will have create tab..when you click on that, u will have all your infoareas from which u choose ur infoproviders...
If I follow your given procedure I can see my Info area. What I did before is Open->Queries then clicked on info areas but could not see my info area, thats really strange.Thank you very much for your help.
When you go to open-->Queries you only can see infoareas which infoproviders had any query, if no queries have been created for any infoprovider in your infoarea, this one is invisible
