Selection OR Scenario

Hello BW Experts,

Report should show the list of sales orders where the customer = BMC or bill-to = BMC

how to achieve this functionality in BW ?

one possible method method1.

1) create a variable on sales order, let the user enter the BMC customer number in it.

2) in the user exit get the sales orders where BMC is the customer or the bill-to

Is there any alternative method.

Will my method1 work correctly according to the requirement.

Please suggest.
