Validate Event and ItemChanged

Hi all,

I am using the et_VALIDATE and the et_COMBO_SELECT events together with "pVal.ItemChanged" flag to detect if a user has changed a field.

This works fine, even in the documentlines matrix except for the following fields:

- GL Account (col-id "29")

- ProfitCenter (col-id "30")

- WhsCode (col-id "24")

- Owner (col-id "260")

- BackOrder (col-id "164")

For these fields the "pVal.ItemChanged" flag becomes never true.

Does anyone has the same experience or a logical explanation for this?

Jurgen,

There is a note regarding this BUG!!

I think you're experiencing the behavior regarding note 711090.

This says PVal.ItemChanged does not always work correctly.

It only gives you a workaround in which you get to save the old value so you can test yourself whether changes have happened.
