Hi,
There is a migration going on from R/3 4.6B to ECC 6.0 The problem that I have is that there are Internet Services that were created through Web Studio as ITS was external long time back for R/3 4.6B. Now what should I do to run these services through ECC 6.0 i.e. in Internal ITS.
Are these services are to be created from scratch or there is some way to solve it?
Please help me
Regards
Deep
Hi Deep,
if these services are dynpro based IACs you can upload them from the file system to se80. Please see the section "Migration of Existing ITS Services" on the SAp help portal
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/cd/8a424089ff2571e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
If the services are based on flowlogic they have to be created from scratch.
Best regards,
Klaus

Hi Deep,
siac_upload is a report to upload your ITS services which are only available on the file system of a ITS server. After starting the report and pressing F8 you will be ask for the directory where the service resides.
The handler CL_HTTP_EXT_ITS_MIMES is the default handler used by the entry /default_host/sap/public/bc/its/ in SICF. All mimes used by ITS services are by default loaded from this location. The handler class CL_HTTP_EXT_ITS_MIMES redirects the request to the mimes storage for ITS services in SE80. You have just to make sure that this entry in SICF is actived.
Best regards,
Klaus
Hi Klaus,
Thanks for your response, I am able to put the Internet Services in se80 and able to activate these, but don't know that how to call them from Web-browser.
As before these services are created externally using WebStudio for R/3 4.6B having external ITS and are called using COM/DCOM Connector.
I have found that WAS 6.20 onwards, COM/DCOM Connector is not supported anymore and I have WAS 7.00
Can I use .Net Connector or BSP to call the services from Web-browser or there is any other way?
Please help me.
Regards
Deep
(sorry for the double answer. Klaus managed to post just before me :=)
