problem with SSO logon tickets

HI All,

We have ported a J2EE application to EP6.0/7.0. We are accessing this application through the portal using SSO logontickets.

Up to my knowledge, if we disable the browser cookies and try accessing the application through portal, then it should ask for user credentials. Rather the application home page is directly opened without asking the user information. This we found out during testing phase.

Please provide ur ideas/suggestions, its higly appreciable.

    1. You should use Visual Admin tool.

    2. In VA, Select the "UME User Store" and corresponding "EvaluateLoginTicketModule"

    Hope this helps

    • If you go to SAPNet (you need an S-User to do so, maybe someone in your company has one), and navigate to "Netweaver" Alias and "How-To's" for EP, you can find the "SAP Enterprise Portal Security Guide" . This will give you a detailled description, of how the so-called "Logon Stack" works.

Basically, you are defining (via Visual Admin as described before) a series of steps. Each step is executed (with a specific purpose, like "Ticket" oder "Prompt for UIDPW" ). Depending on your settings, some steps are mandatory, some are optional. But everything is described in the Security Guide.

Since it is material of the Service-Net, you need to get it by yourself.
