CRM Overview

Hello Folks,

I am working in a Top MNC in India as an ABAP consultant. I would like to learn CRM. Could you throw some light into it. Is it pure functional? or Technical?Do I have to do any coding? any configuration?

Has ABAP+ CRM got a one to one relation?

Is it a wise decision for me to learn CRM(me being an ABAPER?)

Pls provide suitable info.

Advance thanks.

Regards,

Ravi.

    Hi Ravindra,

There are two domains that you can enter :

    1. CRM Functional Consultant

(Role : Base Customizing, Middlware Knowledge,

    Process Design)

    2. CRM Technical Consultant

(Role : Coding like you do in ABAP)

As you already know ABAP it would be easy for you to start as CRM Technical Consultant. Try to explore the commonly used Tables, Function Module, BAPI's used in CRM.
