To Handle Special Characters(Guideu0099 ) in MATMAS IDOC fields

Need to handle special characters like Guide™, as an attached superscript in MATMAS02/05 IDOC field . The field name is TDLINE in E1MTXLM segment.

As a trial run when these special characters are pasted in the TDLINE field, it throws an error that "the input field contains prohibited characters"

Please let me know if there is any workaround for this.

The document in the first link doesnt mention anything about handling special characters.

Also the second link ain't working.

Can you please check if those are the right links

Hello.

I'm not sure, that you're able to leave such special characters in the place. However, you can get a list of "prohibited" characters, and specify relevant replacement for them.

Try also SAP Note search - I've seen prohibited characters' list some time ago. Unfortunately, I do not remember SAP note number.
