Hierarchy

I created below hierarchy on custom IO (ZTEMP):

1)Node 1:

1.1) Characterstic Node ( IO ZTEMP1)

1.1.1) Value 1

1.1.2) Value 3

.......

I have ZTEMP in one IC, and i don't have any master data for it, i want its value to come from Master data of ZTEMP1.

I added ZTEMP as attribute in ZTEMP1, and now in my update rules trying to assign master data of ZTEMP1 to ZTEMP. ZTEMP i make as key field in ODS. Still i am not getting master data of ZTEMP1 into ZTEMP in Infocube.

Where i am missing? any suggestion?
