Hi, Abapers:

If I just want to output Idoc file to a specific directory. I should define which kind of RFC destinations. I need specific directory and file name.

Because I see several RFC destination type:

R/3 COnnection

Internal Connections

Logical Destinations

TCP/IP Connections

Connections via ABAP/4 Driver.

any suggestions, Thank you.

You don't need an RFC destination to do this, but you will need access to the directory from the app server. Create a file based port and assign in the partner profile.
