Hi experts,
I am design a smartforms and use it to print an invoice use Epson dot matrix printer. There are 2 output: 1 invoice can has 1 or 2 pages.
If the invoice is only 1 page, fine, no problem.
But if it has 2 pages, then the 2nd page is printed a lot higher than the 1st one which lead it to not match the pre-printed image of the paper (column, row, customer information, kind like that...)
For that issuse, I create 2nd page and a copy windows of the smartform, and lower its window position. It's work.
But if we print more than 1 invoice, then the 2nd invoice is totally wrong in output position.
Smartform print preview and actual result are different.
We use A4 paper (with 2 parallel dot running along side) for the printer and I also set DINA4.
Thanks
Hi,
forms for dot matrix printers rarely use A4 sized page lengths. Usually, with continous forms, you have some other page length, such as INCH11 or INCH12. That's what the strange "INCHxx" page formats + spooler formats for device types were made for.
Find out length of your continuous form and then choose an appropriate page format in your smartform.
Regards,
Alex
