Structure

Hello All and thank you in advance for the help..

In a Structure, has anybody been successful in adding blank-lines between Selections or Formulas. Trying to breakup the report into groups to make it easier to read...

For example.

Structure:

.... Selection 1

.... Selection 2

.... Formula

.... (blank line)

.... (blank line)

.... Selection 1

.... Selection 2

.... Formula

Thanks Jim

    Hi James,

You can do this by adding a new Formula. In the formula do not provide a description. Drag this formula to the required position and it will appear as a blank line.

    Hope this helps...

Another way is to create a new selection with a key figure and a restriction on a characteristic that will never bring back data.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

      Thanks Jeff,

I can get the columns to work find, its the rows that we are trying to format. We get the blanks with the STRUCTURE, this is fine. Its when a free characteristic is selected as a ROW. The key/text populates all of the lines going down. Is there a way to prevent the Free characteristic column fill the key/text info when there's a blank line ?

Points will be award for both of you....
