Attach PDF file to sales document in VA01 or VA02

Hi SAP colleagues,

In VF02 my customer is able to attach a file (such as a PDF file) to the billing document: via the menu path System -> Services for Object, a popup appears which can be used to create an attachment.

In transaction VA01 and VA02 my customer would like to be able to do the same. However if I follow the same menu path System -> Services for Object, the following message appears: “No services available”.

So the question is: how can I manage to attach documents (especially PDF) to a sales document? Perhaps some customizing is required or even enhancements to realize this? Any advice is very welcome.

Best regards,

Paul Fieten

    Hi PAul,

As I was curious myself, I check this out in detail and it appears that you have to have a user parameter active to have these services by default in VAxx as well :

Add SD_SWU_ACTIVE to your user parameters with value 'X' via system/user profile / own / parameters

    and 'voila' it works !

Not ideal to rollout to thousands of users but still it works.
