Collective Search Help - Issues with Search Help Exits

Hi

I am using the collective search help EQUI for equipment number.

One of the included search helps "EQUIP" has a search help exit F4_MATCHCODE_USER_EXIT with MCFUNCNAME parameter value = 'PM_HLP_EQUI_STRIFLO'.

The FM 'PM_HLP_EQUI_STRIFLO' calls a selection screen for the selection.

This creates problems for us in WD ABAP.

Is there any way to use collective search help along with the above EQUIP search help too in WD ABAP?

I thought of using an external search help for EQUNR but then the problem of including other search helps arises.

Any suggestions / workaround for the same.

I cannot ignore the EQUIP search help. This is very important.

Hi Sid,

did you take a look at WDR_TEST_DDIC_SHLP in the system? There are several examples in there, also with collective search helps.
