Unfortunately I cannot test this scenario..

Did you try removing the SERVICE flag and checking if the documetnts become visible again?

If they do, then I would raise an OSS Message to SAP to see what they recommend.

Hi Pete,

Thanks for your replay,

i am sure that by restoring the config change we would able to get the attachments based on the object type.

But business is asking the possibilities of moving the attachments from the “Maintenance order” to the corresponding “Service order” ? This would make them visible on the current work orders that have been recently configured as service orders.

could you please throw some light on this..

Thanks & Regards,

Sunil,

If these are DMS attachments, then go to CV03N for a sepcific document and check whether the orders are still assigned.

If they are GOS attachments (services for object).then get your ABAP Team to check the tables to see if the entries still exist.

Else raise an OSS Message to SAP to see what they recommend.

Hi Friends,

Does any one has any idea since it's critical issue, as I am thinking, if I could revert the configuration change might restore the records

Based on object type...

Any suggestions please....
