Language problem

Hi Friends

I copied a form rvinvoice01 to a Zform and when I am trying to change it is displaying in german language can any one tell me how to change it.

Hi,

1. May be at the time of copy you have ticked check box for 'only original language'. Try copy again and do not tick that check box

2. If it is not checked by you then it will show only status message "Form ____ has original language DE"

this will not make any difference to your development.

But make sure you are changing form with language as 'EN'. Since chenges will not appear to form of other languages if you are making change in only one language.

Hi

Every sapscript can be create in several language, but only one it's the original language.

Only in the version of original language you can change the elements available for all versions like paragraphs, chararters and so.

In every version you can change the text elements.

Now the standard sapscripts are usually created in german as original language, so you make sure you have copied all versions and than you have to insert the language of the version you need to change before changing the sapscript.

If you need to have a version in a new language, you have to translate the sapscript (by SE63) or insert the new language and press CREATE by SE71: in this case you have to change all text elements, because the system use the text element of original version (so I think German) by default.
