while declaring our datatypes, how can we change the occurances.

the issue is..

while i am converting my file, say CSV its working fine. But it creates a unique record for each and every record.

Can I get some clues in building a single file even after conversion ? I gues its the problem from occurances. If any other, can u please let me know ASAP

Thanks in advance

Hi,

You need to be in the EDIT mode. Click on the pencil sign and then double click to change the occurance.

Hi Kiran,

As Bhavesh has suggested, follow the following steps:

1) Double click on the data type that you need to modify.

2) Click on te 'Pencil' button on top of the Data type window. This is the edit button

3) Then double click on the element's 'Occurances' to change it's occurances.

4) A new small pop up window will open. Mention your desired 'MinOccurs' and 'MaxOccurs' there and save and activate and you are done.

Let me know if you need aany further assistance.

Hi,

Bhavesh I really appericiate your reply You are helping people in all levels thats really so nice of you.

Do as Bhavesh said, also check the RecordSet per message option in the Sender adapter content conversion. It should be blank or 1. I think I have replied to you in another post....

Hi,

In your datatype , you can change the occurance to 0 to unbounded.. Theere will be a column called occurence in the datatype editor, double click on it to change the occurence.

Kiran,

You need to give us the source file format and the source datatype to be able to help you on this.

Hi,

As Bhavesh said you need to gice us more details... Also as I said earlier id you check in SXMB_MONI how many messages are there for 1 execution? If it is equal to number of records then check your Sender Communication channel content conversion "Records per message" and it should be * or blank.. It should not be 1.
