CDS Query : Error while specifying select fields 'Unsupported path entry type'

I am building a new CDS view based on association of two composite views.

The goal is to be able to use it effectively on the query browser.

The two source views are copies of I_SalesDocumentScheduleLine and I_SALESDOCUMENTITEM

while i add fields in the projection/select, i constantly get the following error for most of the fields

Type A (at Line 22 Column 10): has unsupported path entry type [Analytics]ZC_SOITEMSLQRY (Data Definition)[S4H] ZC_SOITEMSLQRYline 22ABAP Syntax Check Problem

Can anyone hint at why this error comes up?

I have the same issue and tried to change the association (=path) type from [1] to [1:INNER] or [1:OUTER LEFT]. Both had no impact on the error messages I got:

"DescriptionResourcePathLocationType ASSOCIATION_NAME (at Line 46 Column 4): has unsupported path entry type [Analytics] VIEW (Data Definition)[System] VIEW line 46 ABAP Syntax Check Problem"

"DescriptionResourcePathLocationType Error while processing select entry number 7 (at Line 46 Column 4) [Analytics] VIEW
(Data Definition)[System] VIEW line 46 ABAP Syntax Check Problem"

Does anyone know why this occurs and how it can be solved?

I am also facing same issue,

Getting error on creation of consumption view as

Error while processing select entry number 12 (at Line 46 Column 4) [Analytics]

FBTOTCUM (at Line 46 Column 4): has unsupported path entry type [Analytics]

Check if you have set annotation @Analytics.query: true

In that case, you cannot use join or union. You need to wrap analytic query in a plain view. Refer to note 2551243 for details.
