BW Implementation help

Hi All,

Can somebody help me with BW list of activities for design and construct? If anyone has anything for use in developing the design and construct Work Breakdown.

Are there any sample template documents?

If you're looking for tasks/activities for Blueprint and Realization, they're different for each customer.

Here are a few links to try, but please remember that the workshops you design/schedule will require you to tweak them for that specific client.

Generally speaking, in Blueprint, you schedule workshops with the business to review their pre-existing reporting specs (provided they have them), and to gather what the data requirements are for their new BW reports. You'll also very likely include members of the respective R/3 area to decide where the reports will finally come from. (i.e. regulatory reports that most often come from R/3, as opposed to sales info reports which come from BW)

The functional report specs would have the R/3 field names and tables names from where the data is pulled from each of the reports. based on that you have identify the standard extractors which are pulling the data from those fields and tables...if a particular field is not available you would identify them as datasource enhancements..
