We are getting more and more process chains in our production environment. It would be so much nicer if we could put these in folders for organization.
Is this available in BW 3.5? If not, I assume it will be in 2004s?
Hi Brent,
In Bw 3.5 you have the option of grouping your process chains into what is referred to application components (the blue icon on the left hand side). If you like, you can create our own groups and then move the process chains into them. Are you looking to do this?
Double click the chain in the left hand pane so that it appears in the right hand window. Click on Display Components (Shift+ F11). Select the group you want (or create a new one). Be sure to click the Save button. Refresh the screen, you should see the chain assigned to the group.
Hope this helps...

Ok, one other question then. Now that I have an application component set up, can I make sub application components? For example, I could have Controlling as one application component. Beneath that, can I have sub components for Cost Center Accounting and a separate one for CO-PA?

we can group process chains by Application component..
You can create a Applciation component
Goto Process cahin menu>Choose Attributes>Display components>Click f4>you notice a create button.. create your own applciation component and later assign your process chain to that..
