Failure reason: "Backend status could not be determined"

Hello All,

I tried the same question in portal. But I am not able to get the soution. Hence, posting it again so that others may get the solution.

I am not able to connect to my backend system, shows the SCC as "Not Reachable" and SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit says "Failure reason: "Backend status could not be determined". (Any how, I tried the same configuration few days back, fortunately it worked but the same is not able to connect with out any changes now).

Kindly suggest.

Regards,

Adit

Kindly check the status of HCC in https://localhost:8443/. The status should show as CONNECTED under tunnel information section and also make sure you are running the go.bat file.

    Hi Adit,

Firstly make sure that the cloud connector is reachable properly.

Take care of the following steps to do it:

    1. Make sure that VPN is connected properly(if needed) to connect to your onPremise system.

    2. Try Using HTTP protocol in the Cloud connector settings.

Give me some more details, if this doesn't work for you.

    Best Regards,

    Aakanksha
