Writing Azure related attributes

Hi folks,

As a part of my current work, I need to populate the ms-DS-ConsistencyGuid for a Office 365 provisioning project. Every time I write to this attribute to the local AD for sync to Azure it gets converted to Hex.

My requirement is that this attribute be populated as a String. Any ideas (in IDM our out) on how to to do this? I'm getting some push back from the the AD folks that they have power shell that accomplishes this functionality. At this point, I'm ready to let them do it. 🙂

I'm running 7.2 if anyone thinks that makes a difference.

New update, it seems that Azure needs the attribute in a specific format. Anyone have any expereince with this?

Resolved. Attribute was writing correctly, it was my LDAP browser screwing things up. Lesson to be learned here, always verify AD questions via ADUC! 🙂
