How to customize delimitor in CSV file from Open Hub Destination?

Former Member

I need to extract delta data from ODS to flat file through Open Hub Destination (in delta mode). The default delimitor of CSV is semicolon. We want to set our own delimitor, which is a combination of two special characters. Plus, we want to add the delimitor at the end of each line, too.

How can I achieve that? I am not familiar with DTP either, so please cast some detailed insights on the direction.

Thank you so much!

Earlier open hub used BADI ,here in NW2004s can use Transformations to achieve that ;However am not sure you can change the file type destination in itself.

Check this link for file type destinations supported-

Hope it Helps

Yes I am aware of the URL you posted. Thanks.

We don't want to use BADI, as BADI is for InfoSpoke. Rather, we want to stick to Open Hub Destination and its transformation.

So, could you provide some technical details or pseudo-code how to use Transformation to manage the file format?

Thanks.
