Business Content Data Extraction

Hi,

Could someone guide me with the steps involved in Business Content Data Extraction from SAP R/3 source system and data load procedures?

Hi,

First you have to install the Business content data sources on the source side. Then you have to set up the BW info objects, Cubes, ODS, etc on the BW side. Set up the info source, map the update and transfer rules. Replicate the datasource on the BW side. Assign the datasource to the infosource. Create your infopackages and then start loading data.

Hi Manjesh:

0FI_GL_6 & 0FI_GL_7 for GL

0FI_GL_4 - GL Line Item Datasource

0FI_AR_4 - AR

0FI_AP_4 - AP are the datasources available in r/3.

make sure they are active(RSA6). come to BW and install business content cubes/ODS eg: 0FIAP_O03, 0FIAP_C03, and make sure update and transfer rules are mapped properly, and then load(INIT/Delta).

Its fairly simple when we compare with LO extraction
