Cascading Input Controls for WebI (SAP BO 4.2 SP3) not supported in the SAP BI Mobile App?

Hi Experts,

We have a BO 4.2 SP3 environment where we were using the Cascading Input Controls feature in Web Intelligence with Universe as a source and it seems to be working fine.

The moment we tried testing this on the SAP BI Mobile App 6.4.5.10 (on iPad2) and

SAP BI Mobile App 6.2.18 (on Android Mobile devices with OS versions 5.1 and 7) the cascading effect stops working. As seen in the attached screenshot, after selecting the year as 2004 and Quarter as Q1, I am still able to select June as the month.webi-mobile-cascading-input-controls.png

I tried checking this up in the Release restrictions for SAP BO 4.2 SP3 but didn't find anything similar there. Is anyone aware of this being a bug? Am i probably missing out on something?
