Hello all,

I am seeing this thing, its not liked much by business users. when I use a text varaible for fiscal year its comes up with extra "/". Like i want to see "Sales for 2006" but it comes up as "Sales for /2006".

Does any one know what to do about this.

Thanks,

KM

Hi,

In Our Text Variable definition make Offset Start ->0002.

That will work.

@Logic

fiscyear is display as k4/2006..so avoiod k4..we keep 'K4' in filter.

but the text variable display fiscyear as space/2006.

So give offset start as 2..that will remove 'space' and '/'

thats because your description is in two lines..

like :

Sales for

2006

go to the description window and delete the gap between 'sales for' and 'text variable' i.e. both should be in the same line

ex: sales for 2006.

inplace of 2006,you have text variable.
