Installing SAP NetWeaver2004 & Oracle on HP-UX

Hi All,

I want to install SAP NetWeaver 2004 (ABAP) & Oracle 9.2 on HP-UX 11.23. I am don't know any thing about the requirements, like RAM, Space. If any one has did this before please let me know the requirements and the Installation procedure. (I have the Install docs, but unable to understand.)

Usually the installation guide have step by step description of the installation process, what part you don't understand?

Hi Juan,

The Installation guide contains so many cases and considerations, I don't know which applies to my case. I just want to install Oracle & SAP WebAS ABAP-04 on my Hp-UX box.

If you can provide me a step-by-step installation procedure, that will be great help to me.

Hi Nagarjuna,

In that case you need to follow the instructions to do a Central Instance + DB installation

Download the Installation Guide from SAP Marketplace -> Release & Upgrade Unfo -> Installation and Upgrade Guides -> SAP Netweaver -> Release 04 -> Installation -> Master Guide - SAP Web AS -> Oracle -> HP-UX

Thanks for the information. I already downloaded the Installation Guides. Can you please let me know, what all I need to download form the service.sap.com/swdc for HP-UX. Please provide the Download Object number (like 5XXXXXXX).

My OS is HP-UX 11.23.

2 GB RAM is advicable and see that not too many applications are loaded into the system.
