Update Rules

HI

I have added 4 new feilds in ODS and now the update rules have been deactivated.

i have reactivated the rules but still the new feilds are in grey colour.

How to set the new fields to green from grey.

is there any other way other than deleting and recreating the update rules.

please give me your advices on this
