selection of prod. version

Hi,

we have maintained the choose of prod. version automatically in customization. For example if we have 2 prod. version with same lot size ranges. My question is when creating prod. order, system will pick up which bom? In what method?

suppose if i customize select manually prod. version means, what will happen?

I need your help.

Hi,

If both the production version has same properties, then system would take the first available production version (which is having the least identification number), Ex.. Production Version 0001 & 0002, in this case 0001

If you have configured manual selection of production version, you would get a popup window, where you need to select your production version.

If ther is same lot size in both the production versions then it will use date as criteria to pick the version during automatic selection.
