COPA extraction

Hi Gurus,

I am working for the first time on CO-PA extraction.I need help from you.

The operating concern is already created.Now I have to create a COPA data source in KEB0.When I clicked create another screen opened where I saw the following:

Field Name for Partitioning, Characteristics from the segment level, Characteristics from the segment table, Characteristics from the line items, Value fields, Calculated Key Figures from the Key Figure Scheme, Characteristics Calculated upon Extraction.Apart from these there is a ICON for Summarization Level and Infocatalog.

Please let me know the significance of all those above.I am not able to find the way out.Please try to help me.
